What is an air purifier and how does it work?
Jafanda air purifier is a device that removes indoor air pollutants to improve air quality. An air purifier is essentially a motor with a fan that draws polluted indoor air into the device and forces the air through different filter layers. The purified air is then returned to the room, repeating this cycle to effectively improve air quality.
What is a HEPA filter?
HEPA is a pleated mechanical air filter. It is an acronym for "High Efficiency Particulate Air [Filter]" (officially defined by the U.S. Department of Energy). Is filter already inside?
Yes, JF100 air purifier comes with a standard replacement filter! We recommend replacing it after about 6 months of use.
Should I vacuum the pre filter? How to clean ?
The outer pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase efficiency and extend filter life. Use a soft brush or vacuum hose to clean the pre-filter to remove hair, dust and large particles. Do not use water or other liquids to clean the filter.
I live in a room without a window. Would this help to purify the room?
Yes, it will purify any air in the room. With or without windows.
How will it do in a 900 sqft room?
JF100 can clean spaces up to 450 ft² in 30 minutes. If the room size is larger than the effective range, the unit will need more time to purify the room.
