Disappointment is an understatement to say the least! I have dealt with Jafanda customer service prior to the expiration of the 30-day home trial and continuing over the course of about six (6) months to no avail with customer service finally not responding to ongoing correspondences.
At a price of over $400 one would think this unit would be top of the line and state of the art, but the factory installed filters do not perform as expected in a kitchen environment and the wifi connectivity with the app is a complex and, in my case, a technical failure that customer service had no solution for.
In a last-ditch effort at resolving my filter complaint, Jafanda customer service offered a 50% discount on the upgraded VOC filter replacements yet never issued the discount code and vanished from follow-up communications.
I do not recommend this unit, due to it's upfront high costs, as well as the need to replace the filters every six (6) months which are usually $89-99 a pair, especially if service after the sale is going to be non-existent and not honored.
I got my first air purifier a couple of years ago for my apartment. It works very well, is quiet and unobstrusive. It is easy to maintain and access to the filter for cleaning/changing is simple. I have since ordered more, an extra for myself, and two more for family members. One family member has taken it on trips in their van and like it very much, The order arrived quickly as well. I appreciate having clean air in my place.
It's great but I can't restart the filter. I ordered it, changed it, and I can't reset it. Can you tell me how to do it?
`The Jafanda JF100 was easy to order on line, was delivered in a few days, and was easy to install. I would recommend maintaining your Air Purifier with a new filter
I have two birds and it significantly reduces their dander that collects in the room. I vacuum the filters once a week and change completely every 6 months. It also lets me know if something I'm doing, like cooking, is creating too much smoke that may be bad for the birds. It can sense the change in the air quality before there is any visible smoke. Then I can open a window or more be the birds into a different room. I had this purifier for almost 2 years and it's still working great.
